Since forming the band in 1997, The Colin MacDonald Band have played at a variety of prestigious to more intimate venues throughout the Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Essex and Suffolk area. They can accommodate any size venue from a small bar to a large function room.

What's the maximum length of time the band will play for?
In most cases, sets can be tailored to suit the requirements of the event. Generally, around 3 hours of music is enough for even the most energetic dancers!! For example, this would be 3 x 1 hour sets with 15 minute breaks between sets.

The Colin MacDonald Band will provide pre-recorded music of your choice between sets to ensure a seamless transition during breaks, etc and to keep the momentum of the event going. The Colin MacDonald Band are happy to play favourite tracks from you mp3 player through the PA or can provide a full disco service to compliment the live performance.
