John Nichol

John Nichol

Cast your mind back to the shocking and infamous television pictures that the world saw of RAF navigator Lieutenant John Nichol, the British prisoner of war, tortured, beaten and humiliated by the Iraqis in the first Gulf War.

Since the terror attacks on the USA began and the subsequent military action in Afghanistan and Iraq, John is once again in the national press and on television as a consultant and commentator for Panorama, BBC news, ITN, and GMTV.  John talks with sensitive honesty about the reality of life on the front line as the 'ordinary guy who has just happened to find himself in extraordinary circumstances'.  This time he's on the right side of the camera giving his unique insight, knowledge and expertise today's events.

As a public speaker, John's presentation has become a highly tuned account of his experiences both during and following the Gulf war.  He is an ideal presenter who will speak of optimism, inspiration and personal motivation.  He will leave your clients in no doubt that potential exists in all of us.

2011 marks the 20th anniversary of the First Gulf War and John Nichols continues to make regular public speaking and media appearances including guesting on London radio station LBC, reviewing the papers on Nick Ferrari's breakfast show, and co-hosting James Whale's drivetime show around the Battle Of Britain 70th Anniversary.

"Thanks so much for your brilliant presentation - the feedback has been extremely positive. I think the delivery was inspiring and it is very rare that such a session is followed by so many questions. Pitched at the correct level, it has made my teams think about of their outlook on life.  Well done and hope to work with you again"  National Managers' Conference, Toolstation

'John made me really think about things in a very different way, especially about turning negative experiences into positives.'

'John has a great story to tell with an excellent manner and delivery style and it's still topical now.  The effects on the delegates was electrifying and the highlight of the programme.' British Telecom

'John received an outstanding reception and the highest rating of the day of all our speakers.  The impact of his talk impressed our audience to rise to a standing ovation.' Simon Gibson - Thoroughbred Financial Services
