"I've worked with Nick Holland for nearly fifteen years and he is a splendid chap. He is an inventive and inspirational keyboard player, and has been the mainspring of my work outside Steeleye Span and the Carnival Band. We have put in many hours on the road together, along with Troy Donockley, and put out five innovative albums, working on longer, historical, complex pieces of music. All my work with Nick has been deeply satisfying musically, and we seem to laugh a lot. I can't remember what at, but then...
Katie is a great singer and graced a version of Yellow Handkerchief (a traditional song) on one of our CDs and with her delightful harmonies took the song somewhere completely different. Together Nick and Katie make a handsome couple that perform soul and roll with verve and passion. ]A brilliant night out". - Maddy Prior.
"Nick and Katie are two very talented singer/musicians producing fantastic music from a great combination of their brilliant voices and Nicks keyboard playing which is second to none!! Real professionals who deserve even more success in the future!" Ken Giles (Aston Martin).
"Darwins Wish are the ultimate duo. What you get is much more than you see, as they create a BIG sound full of power and brilliance. What's more, their versatility is something else: they can interpret just about any song in any genre and make it their own. As an audience member at lots of their events (and seeing the effect on those present) I know they are the tops so... Hire them NOW!" - Troy Donockley.
