Specialising in early-evening and dinner-music, Natasha Gelston and
Victoria Mills provide the very best in stylish entertainment to suit
all tastes.
Comprising two of Cambridge’s most respected vocalists, this duo perform
everything from cocktail standards through to modern pop classics and
their set list spans everything from Ella Fitzgerald, Norah Jones,
Gabrielle, Katie Melua and Dusty Springfield through to Tina Turner,
Shania Twain, ABBA, Kylie Minogue and The Scissor Sisters!
Xanadu are the perfect choice for weddings and can provide an
early-evening cocktail set while your guests mingle, followed by an
up-tempo party set for everyone to dance to later in the evening! Having
performed at over 200 weddings between them, Victoria and Natasha are
happy to work closely with the bride & groom to ensure their
entertainment goes smoothly and will, of course, learn that all
essential song for the ‘first dance’!
Although suited to any style of function or
venue and happy to perform all styles from their vast repertoire, Xanadu
are most at home when performing in venues such as a cocktail-lounge or
hotel restaurant, to create a warm ambience in the location.
With many performing
credits to their name, (including work alongside artistes such as the
Joe Loss Orchestra, Cy Payne Orchestra, NYJO, Jim Davidson, Patti
Boulaye and Paul Carrack), you can relax in the knowledge that Natasha
and Victoria are the personification of professionalism, experience and

NATASHA GELSTON
Vocals
Natasha has been
singing professionally since she was very young. At the age of 15, she
attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama for Jan vocal training
and went on to complete a BA (Hons) music degree at Anglia Polytechnic
University.
In recent years, she has performed all over the UK and at many of
London’s top venues - including: The London Palladium, 100 Club (Oxford
Street), Hilton Hotel (Park Lane), Grosvenor House Hotel (Park Lane) and
Smollensky’s (The Strand). Closer to home, she has appeared at the
famous Cambridge Corn Exchange.
Natasha has sung alongside the likes of Lee Gibson, Tina May, Selina
Jones, Digby Fairweather and she is a guest-vocalist for the Humphrey
Lyttelton Band. Between the ages of 15- 18 she was lead singer for the
National Youth Jan Orchestra.
To compliment her resume of live performances, Natasha’s work as a
session musician has lead her to record a variety of television
advertisements, a television film series and a pop CD which was recently
on general release throughout the UK.
At
present, Natasha can be seen performing with her Jazz Quintet at venues
throughout London and the Home Counties, in addition to providing lead
vocals and saxophone for funk band ‘Disco Inferno’ - as well as her
performances with ‘Xanadu’.

VICTORIA MILLS
Vocals
Originally providing
the backing-vocals for a ‘Commitments’ tribute show, Victoria was soon
spotted by the highly acclaimed BBC Musical Director Cy Payne and was
invited to join his band as guest-vocalist. Since then, Victoria has
performed all over the world with many different acts, sharing the bill
with a wide variety of artistes, including Patti Boulaye, Jim Davidson
and Mike & The Mechanics.
More
recently she performed the female lead in Latino song and dance
stage-show ‘South American Way’ before going on to record her own
composition for entry in the ‘Song For Europe’ contest. This was
followed by an extensive tour as backing vocalist with a ‘Stars In Their
Eyes’ theatre show, female lead in the ‘Magic of The Musicals’ show at
Hotel Intercontinental in Dubai, and a 5-year residency with a
cocktail-duo at ‘Centerparcs’.
She
has performed at many UK venues, including The Dorchester, Claridges &
Sandringham House and has been chosen to sing at many prestigious events
including the Tory Party 2001 Election Ball, Daimler Centennial Ball &
the Royal Westmoreland Summer 2000 Golf Tournament (Barbados).
Previous clients include Damon Hill, Mickey Dolenz, William Hague, Linda
Barker, Fiona Phillips, Eastenders cast & Peter Stringfellow.
Since
2000, Victoria has been touring the UK and abroad with the highly
acclaimed Andy Leek band (Dexy’s Midnight Runners), in addition to
performing with showband ‘The Right Stuff’, female duos ‘Xanadu’ and
‘Allure’, cocktail trio ‘Manhattan’ and providing vocals for the summer
2000 Top 20 club- ‘hit ‘Caribbean Affair . She was also the feature of
an article in the August 2002 issue of top magazine Marie Claire:
