Keith Chegwin

Affectionately known as "Cheggers" the former child actor became a household name with Swap Shop with Noel Edmonds.

After Swap Shop he continued with Saturday Morning TV with the Saturday Superstore. During the late 1970s it seemed that you could not get away from him and his own show Cheggers Plays Pop became a hit on BBC childrens television. 

He has made something of a TV comeback in recent years, following stints on Channel 4s Big Breakfast and GMTV, where he would surprise viewers on their doorsteps when they had won competitions, or the chance to take part in a challenge.

 

Keith can perform, host & compere literally anything, from the BAFTA’s to a corporate conference, awards night, club nights, shop openings and county shows. Recently Keith has been filming at Pinewood Studios for the new spoof ‘horror’movie ‘Kill Keith’ for release in 2011.

Corporate work includes appearances for Proctor & Gamble; Boots; Debenhams; Virgin Holidays; Frank PR; DHL; Waitrose; The National Care Awards and many more.

Keith interjects his own style of comedy and audience participation to invigorate your conference, corporate day, club, shop opening, and sales pitch.

New for 2011 is ‘Cheggers Pop Quiz’ - a good night of fun games and competitiveness for all. From a running theme throughout a corporate dinner, evening or event. Cheggers PQ is jam packedwith extra fun and games.

‘Cheggers Does Clubbing’ is 40 minutes of live non-stop interactive games, competitions & music for the over 18s.

Keith can entertain  inside or out at a corporate fun day, gala event or promotion with family fun games and competitions for anyone from 8 to 81, from playing The ‘F-Factor', ‘Strictly Not Dancing’, Flip Flop Flinging and more! Each event is carefully tailored to suit to the clients aims and goals. 

Keith has toured the country promoting chips, Freeview, The NHS, Aldi, The Co-op and Tesco.  He has kept people entertained at the Millennium Stadium in Wales and at Murrayfield in Scotland during intervals in rugby and football matches.

He acts as host when ‘Cheggers Does Knockout’ compering the games and providing his own style of interactive fun for everyone. He can also provide a full blown 4 hour ‘It’s Knockout’ that can be used to raise money for charity, corporate team building days, management training, conferences or big corporate events.
