Lorrie has been a professional singer for
20 yrs and has for the last 15 yrs, performed her show ‘A Salute to Dame
Vera Lynn’ in venues around the UK and abroad.
Lorrie recently sang at Upton Park, West
Ham Utd football ground, singing ‘We’ll Meet Again’ to a crowd of 33,000
on Remembrance Sunday 09
Some of the favourites that Lorrie
performs include - White Cliffs of Dover, Lili Marlene, A Nightingale
Sang in Berkeley Square, Yours, We’ll Meet Again and many of the old
singalongs loved by all. The show runs for 50 mins.
Lorrie’s voice is perfectly suited to the
beautiful melodic songs of a bygone era.

As well as travelling around the world
with her show, Lorrie gets a great deal of pleasure performing her show
in the local residential homes. She was recently asked to perform in
front of the Chelsea Pensioners at their barracks in London.
Her recent TV appearances include SKY TV,
GMTV, YTV’s CALENDAR and an appearance in a 1940’s TV special on YTV.
Lorrie’s warmth and personality added to
her beautiful voice make her a great favourite with fans of the 40’s
music.

A Salute to the 1940’s is a fabulous show,
which takes you right back to the nostalgic days of the 1940’s.
This year it has been wowing audiences
around the country and in many cases selling out.
Completely adaptable to fit your
requirements, wether it be a small venue with just Lorrie Brown
performing the classic songs of Dame Vera Lynn, or a full production
show with several 1940’s acts and a swing orchestra. We can create a
show to suit your budget.
This show has performed in theatres around
the country including, North Pier- Blackpool, Chequer Mead- East
Grinstead, Rotherham Civic and Broxbourne Civic.
Other acts who regularly appear in the
show inc tributes to George Formby, Andrews Sisters,
Al Jolson and Max Miller. The whole show
is held together by our very own air raid warden who keeps the cast and
the audience under control.
