Sahara’s wide repertoire recreates the sounds of 60’s soul legends (Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye to name just three) right through to the modern pop icons of today including Anastacia, Shania Twain and Christina Aguilera.

Sahara’s set also encompasses music from the 70’s disco era with all time favourites including “Play That Funky Music”, “Carwash”, “Disco Inferno” and “Boogie Nights” as well offering an excellent party mix of 80’s material including hits by Madonna, Blondie, Wham, Duran Duran and many others. Sahara also offers a great selection of swing favourites including "Moondance", "Fly Me To The Moon" and "In The Mood".  Specialist theme nights, or combinations can be easily accommodated with advance notification, otherwise a general party mix will be selected to suit a wide variety of ages, backgrounds and musical tastes.

The band plays extensively throughout the UK and abroad for every type of venue and event from military camps to university balls, private and corporate functions, theatre and cabaret venues, holiday camps and cruise lines.

Sahara and its members have also had the great pleasure of performing with legends such as The Average White Band, The Foundations, Limahl (Kajagoogoo), Gwen Dickey (Rose Royce) and Bonnie Langford.

Sahara’s corporate clients include, among others, Harrods (2003 Christmas Launch), Lakeside Shopping Centre Relaunch, Jaguar and Range Rover long service awards at Birmingham NEC, Linford Hall (Grand Summer Ball), Amec, PCS, Norfolk County Council, The Young Conservatives, Highway Emergency Services, Ministry Of Defence (MOD), various golf clubs, Brittany Ferries, P&O Cruiselines, University of East Anglia.
