Ruby Wax was initially
best known for linking with FRENCH & SAUNDERS to start work on the first series
of GIRLS ON TOP which was broadcast in 1985 and was followed immediately by a
second series.
Ruby has
written and performed her one woman show WAX ACTS which was originally presented
at the Edinburgh Festival, toured successfully throughout the UK and completed a
short West End run at the Globe Theatre.
She has also
presented very unusual documentaries entitled MIAMI MEMOIRS, EAST MEETS WAX,
CLASS OF '69, RUBY TAKES A TRIP, starred in and wrote four series of her own
show for BBC Television, THE FULL WAX and subsequently four series of WAX MEETS.
She presented RUBY'S HEALTH QUEST, a six episode documentary series on health,
produced by Prospect Pictures for the BBC and 3 series for BBC2 of late night,
round table, chat show WAX STRIPPED.
Currently
hosting Ruby Wax Commercial Breakdown on BBC1, Ruby is ever active in the
corporate market, bringing her panache and unique style to corporate videos,
conferences and awards. Recent clients include Microsoft, Systemax and Orange.
