Richard Rosson (Rubber Ritchie) picked up a
yoga book when he was 20 years old, tried a 20 minute sequence of
stretches and relaxation exercises and was hooked.
The following weeks and months he practiced every day, starting with one
hour a day, building to 2, 3 and up to 4 hours a day.
At first he laughed at the pictures he saw in the yoga book of people
with their legs behind their head and other curious poses but as the
months/years went on he got closer and closer to being able to do all he
saw.Ritchie had a background in stage performance from years in glam
rock bands and decided to put a turn together demonstrating his
extraordinary tricks to the world. He began to perform to astonished
audiences on the streets of Covent Garden in London.
He was quickly snapped up by the Circus of Horrors which took him on
tour to the north of England and Scotland. Since then he has performed
at all kinds of events from circus, to cabaret, to theatre, to opera, to
television/film.
He is an eye catching choice for photographers doing many adverts and
promotional shoots for companies such as Microsoft, Kwikfit and Ripleys
Believe It Or Not. His pictures have appeared in hundreds of newspapers
and magazines such as The Guardian, The Telegraph, The News of The World
and many others. (See résumé)
Ritchie appears regularly on television. Past appearances have included:

Britain's Got Talent (ITV),
Richard and Judy show (Ch4),
Let Me Entertain You (BBC2),

Fire’.
