Following a career in some of the world’s
most renowned kitchens, Kevin was appointed as a lecturer in
professional cookery. He rapidly rose through the ranks and after
gaining a Higher Degree in the Philosophy of Education and Management at
Hull University, was appointed as the youngest Head of Department at one
of England’s biggest and most reputable colleges of Higher Education.
A career in the media soon beckoned and
Kevin first hit the screens on ITV's ‘This Morning’ programme before the
BBC tempted him to join them. His relaxed style, immense skill and
ability to communicate at all levels brought him acclaim on ‘The
Reluctant Cook’, ‘Big Kevin Little Kevin’, ‘Ready Steady Cook’ and
‘Can't Cook, Won't Cook’, - for which he was voted Best Daytime
Television Presenter at The National Television Awards. He also starred
in 64 half hour episodes of ITV’s ‘Surprise Chefs’, and has hosted 13
episodes of ITV’s ‘Reality Bites’. |

show ‘Songs of Praise’. Kevin's sense of fun makes him a regular guest
on many leading light entertainment shows, including Through the
Keyhole, Countdown, Celebrity Weakest Link, the National Lottery Show,
Eastenders Revealed, Doctors, Hollyoaks, The Tracy Beaker Show and he
was the male reserve Celebrity skater for ITV’s ‘Dancing on Ice’
