Kaleidoscope - State of the Art Juggling
/ Poi Show
Drawing on their popular show, 'Flux', Feeding the
Fish have created a larger, more visual and even more stunning
performance: 'Kaleidoscope' is a strongly choreographed combination of
dance, laser manipulation and PixelPoi, performed by three dancers to a
movingly upbeat classicalfusion soundtrack.
The patented equipment is uniquely designed and
built by Feeding the Fish and on request can be specially programmed to
display a client's logo, colourbranding or choice of text at the high
point of the PixelPoi finale.
'Kaleidoscope' premiered in early June 2008 and has
already been performed at a number of high profile events worldwide
including the Horse of the Year Show, the Salle Empire in MonteCarlo
before Prince Albert of Monaco, for the rebranding party of Hong Kong
Tourist Board, to launch a new TV channel in Dubai and at the opening of
the 'Queens of Egypt' exhibition for the Egyptian Ambassador to France.

Second generation PixelPoi are now incorporated in
all performances of 'Flux' and 'Kaleidoscope'. Alongside the capability
to make an almost infinite variety of breathtaking patterns, they can
display far more accurate representations of logos or graphics than ever
before. PixelPoi images now have a higher definition, dozens of colour
shades and multiple words can be programmed to appear simultaneously.

What are PixelPoi?
PixelPoi are highly visual illuminated LED batons
manipulated in performances by Feeding the Fish. We developed PixelPoi
ourselves and they are completely unique (patent pending).
They can be precisely programmed to display text,
graphics and logos as they are spun by the performers this makes them
perfect for custom shows. A typical branded performance would include a
PixelPoi routine as the finale of the act, displaying numerous
colourful patterns. As the music builds to the crescendo, the client's
choice of logo or text appears in the PixelPoi.
The effect is completely breathtaking.

Details and Artwork
We typically request one week's notice for
customprogramming, although short notice bookings may still be
possible. Artwork is required in JPEG, PDF, GIF or EPS format.
The displayed graphic will be a representation of
the original logo rather than a verbatim copy. For text programming, up
to 6 words will display most clearly.
Some
approximate fees quoted on The Edge Website may be subject to VAT at
the prevailing rate. All acts, attractions and entertainers
are subject to availability. From time to time band line ups
may vary. Some artists may appear with the kind co-operation
and consent of their respective management companies.
