Since developing his act in 2000 Jon
has taken his shows around the world.
Performing for 1000s of people, in front of a President, at Glastonbury
Festival, on numerous television shows and leaping over tall buildings. |

Upside down, revolving, 6 foot tall
paintings of the iconically famous. Executed with immaculate
timing to music.
Jon has an ever expanding repertoire
of Icons practised to performance level, currently hovering around 15
different portraits. He is always happy to discuss preparing new Icons.

A rapid
fire performance of a panoply of artworks.
The
master of the fast arts demonstrates his repertoire with vigorously
versatile virtuosity. Painting, drawing, sculpting, origamiing, with a
soundtrack of motivating music. Culminating in the legendary upside down
delight of a big finish.

BIOGRAPHY
Jon Hicks has appeared
as the "artist in action" since 2000.
Jon studied Fine Art
to degree level at art college in the 1980s. Worked as a pavement artist
throughout Britain in the late eighties and early 90s, still producing
works to commission. He also worked as a scenic artist from ' 93,
producing work for film, television and the music industry. He now
focuses on his performances, having developed a new sculptural element
over 2004 with the assistance of Arts Council funding. |
