Television & Broadcasting:- Ian's comedy television credits include: 'The Big Big Talent Show'; 'Talking Telephone Numbers'; 'The Time The Place';' Celebrity Squares';' Stand & Deliver' and 'The Stand Up Show'. Ian is also a regular comedy contributor on Central TV's 'Central Weekend Live'. As a host and presenter on television Ian made his debut fronting L!VE TV's 'The Stand Up Show' featuring six comics per show and requiring lots of fast thinking. In 1998 Ian co-hosted BBC2's 'Student's Choice', which won a BAFTA for Best BBC2 Documentary. Ian also presented L!VE TV's 'Blue Review' giving a light hearted look at the movies and 'Indecent Proposals' reporting from nightspots across London and Ibiza. Ian was the first voice behind 'Topless Darts'!! On radio, Ian is fast establishing himself as a voice of TALKSPORT. He recently stood in for both Mike Dickens and Tommy Boyd to huge public acclaim and is also a regular contributor on 'Creatures of the Night'. |
| Stand Up Comedy:-
Ian has been a stand up for the last eight years working for national
institutions all over the country and is establishing himself on the London
comedy circuit performing at venues such as The Comedy Store, The Comedy Cafe,
Downstairs at the King's Head, The Cosmic, Ha Bloody Ha, The Room Upstairs, The
Bearcat Club, Standing Ovation and Yuks Yuks (Toronto). Ian is also on great
demand on the cruise circuit headlining for Celebrity Cruises, Thomson Cruises,
Dolphin, Premier, P&O & QE2. Theatre:- In the theatre Ian has starred in the hugely successful 70's musical 'Boogie Nights' opposite Shane Ritchie culminating in a sell-out run at London's Savoy Theatre. He has also shown his Versatility in diverse roles such as Buttons in 'Cinderella', an Ugly Sister in 'Cinderella' Abanazza in 'Aladdin'. Presenting:- Ian frequently hosts and comperes live presentations for companies such as Mr Kipling, The Las Vegas, Tourist Board, Cel let Travel Services, Vodaphone, British Gas and BP. Corporate:- Ian specialises in tailoring some of his comedy to the client's specifications. Clients include: Abbey National, NHS, Live Business, Kelly Group, P & MM Ltd, Mr. Kipling, Lincoln Financial, Ford, British Airways, Audi, Virgin Atlantic at venues such as The Waldorf the V&A and Goodwood Park Hotel, Dorchester; Lancaster etc. This year Ian was asked to go to entertain the troops in Oman - Turkey and Northern Ireland. Ian also writes and presents tailor-made shows in the style of 'This is Your Life' this is very popular with corporate clients. |
