GARY NEWBON has been with ITV for 35 years. He is controller of Sport at Carlton Television (Central region) but is best known for his appearances on ITV's major sports coverage of football and boxing. Gary
has covered seven World Cup Finals for ITV - 1974 Germany; 1982 Spain; 1986 Mexico;
1990 Italy; 1994 USA, 1998 France and 2002 in Japan, plus three For six years he hosted football programmes on the national Talk Sport radio wavelength and was nominated for a coveted Sony Award. Back hosting 5-0-5 on Saturdays from August 16th 2003 Experienced after dinner speaker and awards presenter. |
