Declan Curry

Declan Curry has been a journalist and broadcaster for almost twenty years, specialising in business and economics.

He is the presenter of "On the Money", a weekly business and workplace programme on BBC Radio 5 live, the BBC's news and sport network.

He occasionally presents 5 live's afternoon news programme, "Drive", and also appears as its business presenter.

He also reports for BBC One's "Breakfast" television news programme.  Previously, he was the business presenter of that programme for seven years.

For two years, he presented "Working Lunch", a daily workplace and personal finance programme on BBC Two.

He presented several editions of BBC One's Sunday morning religious programme "Heaven and Earth", Radio 5 live's weekly programme "Weekend Business", and a range of live audience programmes and documentaries for BBC Northern Ireland. He has also reported for the BBC's flagship documentary programme, "Panorama".

For almost a decade, Declan broadcast each morning on the US network ABC.

He spent four years as a regular columnist for "Investors Chronicle" magazine.

He has won several awards for his broadcasting, including IFA Journalist of the Year (Television), ABI Financial Journalist of the Year and Proshare Financial Personality of the Year.

He is an honorary Doctor of Middlesex University.
