In these present
times Lew Lewis is a rare species, a clean comedian, able to entertain his
audience without having to resort to any 'Blue' material.
Often referred to
by his peers as the 'comedians comedian' speaking volumes of his high standards,
which includes constantly updating his material with topical references covering
a wide spectrum of current affairs.
Show business has
honoured him with many prestigious awards, including 'Club Act of The Year', The
Variety Club of Great Britain Award, and 'South Coast Entertainer of The Year
Award' and others.
Lew had the honour
and pleasure of performing to His Royal Highness Prince Phillip. in a Royal Gala
show, and was hugely successful, and during the auction he tried to sell the
Crown Jewels, much to the amusement of His Royal Highness.
Although having
made numerous appearances on regional TV and Radio programmes, he much prefers
to perform live. If the ability to entertain is the criteria for success, then
Lew Lewis is in the premier league of show business; standing ovations are the
rule, rather than the exception.

In great demand as
an after dinner performer, he has spoken at a number of very prestigious
banquets. What makes Lew so
special is that he obviously enjoys his work and his humour is natural, his
timing a delight to witness. The wicked way that he constantly ridicules himself
throughout his performance endears him to his audience, who almost feel sorry
for him at times, is truly a mark of a great performer.
He is his own
biggest critic, and never stops trying out new ideas, when not performing he
works on his act, and his approach to the job is one of sheer professionalism.
Lew Lewis is of
the 'Old School' of entertainers and came up the hard way through club land, and
has learned his craft well.
Lew is available
for "After Dinner Speaking" at corporate or family functions.
